Shelley Luther, the owner of Salon a la Mode in North Dallas, was sentenced to seven days in jail for opening her salon despite shutdown orders relating to COVID-19. Mrs. Luther opened her business a couple weeks ago despite the orders so that she could feed her children and fight for our basic rights.
